The arrival of students for accommodation at the dormitory of Palacký University in Olomouc for the academic year 2021/2022 will take place in individual accommodation locations on the following regular dates and time:
- 01. 09. - 17. 09. 2021 in the period from 07:00 - 14:00 always only on working days,
- 19. 09. 2021 (Sunday) in the period from 14:00 - 20:00
By the measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic from 20th August 2021, the universities are ordered i.a.:
university provides university students the accommodation in university accommodation facilities only if the accommodated students prove one of the following:
a) national certificate proving the performed vaccination or a certificate proving the performed vaccination according to the EU regulations,
b) a certificate proving the underwent covid-19 disease (not older than 180 days),
c) a negative covid-19 test RT-PCR (not older than 7 days),
d) a negative antigen test (RAT) dealing with the SARS-CoV-2 antigen (not older than 72 hours).
The abovementioned facts has to be stated by the students before the real start of accommodation, while the university accommodation facility has to check this. The student, which is not able to prove the abovementioned conditions, will not be allowed to enter the university accommodation facility.
The fact that they meet the condition according to c) and/or d) (i.e. tests RT-PCR and/or RAT) has to be proved every 7 days by the students.
It is necessary to wear the facemasks in the common premises. By facemasks, we mean the facemasks with the efficiency at least 94 per cent (e.g. the FFP2 or KN95 respirators, nano-mask or nano-scarf, etc.) and to keep the distance at least 2 metres between each other.
In case of non-observing of the required measures (e.g. if the student is not able to present the test results), the student may be expelled from the accommodation facility (the contract may be terminated).

Are you planning to have a visitor overnight?
For visitors, the same rules as for the regular accommodated are applied.
The university accommodation facilities have only a limited capacity of quarantine rooms while the accommodation there is charged according to the valid price list. In case of insufficient capacity of quarantine rooms, the student is obliged to find a quarantine room themselves in another accommodation facility.
