The Palacký University canteens, including the FreshUP bistros, is adjusting their opening hours for two holiday months each year. The adjusted summer opening hours are valid until the beginning of the winter semester.
The canteens and bistros won’t open during the first week of July, which includes a public holiday. From the second week of July, most canteens and bistros will operate on normal or reduced hours.
The Neředín canteen, which has already been used by a minimum number of diners during June, will be closed until the end of the holidays, while the FreshUPs at the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Arts (tř. Svobody 26) and the Šmeralova canteen (whose services will be provided by the main canteen 17. listopadu instead) will be closed until the new semester.
The canteen in Holice will remain closed during the second week of July; the UP Accomodation and Dining Services will use the downtime to repair the flooring and adapt the food distribution area. FreshUP at the Faculty of Education will have a fortnight's shutdown in the middle of the holidays.
The main canteen 17. listopadu will end afternoon operation hours in mid-June, and will dispense dinners for the last time on Thursday, June 13. Afternoon shifts will resume with the winter semester on September 23.
