It is not only spinach that visitors to the university canteens will find on the lunch menu on Maundy Thursday (Green Thursday). On this day, other green ingredients will also be part of every meal from the ready meals menu.
On the menu for 6 April, in addition to pea soup, there will be chicken legs with green stuffing, fish fillet with asparagus sauce, pork steak with beans, Thai green curry and fasting lasagne with spinach or fried broccoli. Classic dishes remain among the dishes, but you can also order meatless fried mushrooms, for example.
In addition to the special food selection, the day before a public holiday (and a holiday day for school children) will also bring reduced hours. FreshUPs and canteens will close as early as 2:30 PM.
