the UP Accommodation and Dining Services announces that during the Christmas holidays and winter exam period, there will be changes to the operating hours of the canteens and FreshUPs. The first changes in opening hours will take place during the week of December 15, when the canteens will be open from 11:00 AM. to 2:30 PM. On Friday, December 19, all canteens will close an hour earlier.
FreshUPs will be open from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM during that week, with the exception of the FreshUPs in Holice, on tř. Svobody, and at the Faculty of Law, which will close at 2:30 PM. Similar to the canteens, FreshUPs will have reduced opening hours on Friday, December 19, from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The FreshUP+ bistro at the Josef Jařab dormitory will be completely closed on this day.
All cafeterias and FreshUPs will then be completely closed from Saturday, December 20, 2025, to Sunday, January 4, 2026. Limited operation will continue until the beginning of the summer semester, i.e., until Sunday, February 8, 2026, when operation will return to normal. Please note, however, that the FreshUP+ bistro will not be open on Fridays from the New Year on.
