Check-out procedure

Thursday 29 May 2025, 11:18

Dear accommodated, the end of the academic year is approaching, so we have some information for you on how to check out of the dormitories.

RETURNING THE BED LINEN

Borrowed bed clothes (and extension cord, if you have it) need to be returned to the linen storage room, every weekday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 2 PM.

ROOM CLEANING

Before leaving the room, you need to clean it thoroughly. That means: wiping down the furniture (including inside the wardrobe and table cabinets) and floors (including the area under the bed and balcony floor); defrosting the fridge and wiping it down (insides and under the fridge as well); taking out all garbage. This applies to the last student in the room/suite. The room then has to be checked by the cleaning lady (in the working hours – every weekday from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM and from 12:00 PM to 2 PM). You will hand over the room inspection confirmation to the dormitory officer.

Please know that we can charge you for not cleaning the room sufficiently. According to the Pricelist of additional services and fees, the fine is from CZK 500 to CZK 1000.

RETURNING THE KEYS

During working hours from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM and from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM (on weekdays), you must go to the dormitory office, where you will hand in your room keys and confirmation of room cleaning. If you have no outstanding debts, the dormitory officer will check you out.

In justified cases, the check-out time can be moved to later hours. However, it is always necessary to discuss this in person with your dormitory officer in advance!
