As every year, canteens and FreshUPs adjust their opening hours over the Christmas period. The first change will take place on Monday 9 December, when Josef Jařab Canteen (formerly Šmeralova) will close. In the following week, all FreshUPs will shorten their opening hours, especially on Fridays. The canteens and bistros of the Accomodation and Dining Services will return to the standard regime at the beginning of the summer semester from 10 February 2025.

During the annual shutdown of the Josef Jařab Canteen, diners can use the services of the adjacent 17. listopadu Canteen. The Josef Jařab Canteen will resume its normal operations with the summer semester.

All canteens and bistros will be completely closed from Saturday, December 21, 2024 through Sunday, January 5, 2025.
