"Every year, autumn brings a dish that brings people, cuisine and culture together - Martin's goose, associated with the celebration of St. Martin's Day, to the university canteens. This becomes not only a culinary experience in the canteens, but also an opportunity to meet and share experiences. St Martin's Day is rooted in folk customs and traditions and has always been an occasion for family gatherings and lavish feasts. The traditional dish - roast goose - symbolizes abundance and the coming of winter. This tradition is still celebrated with great enthusiasm in the canteens today. Due to the number of diners, the preparation of the goose menu is demanding, but the result is tasty and hearty dishes that are gaining more and more popularity every year, " explains Miroslav Paszyc, head of the Dining Services Department of the UP Accomodation and Dining Services.
