The Envelopa Campus
This campus consists of five dormitories (three of them are barrier-free) and two university canteens; 17. listopadu and Josef Jařab. The UP Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Law are part of the campus as well. The UP Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Arts and the Sts Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology are located in the neighbourhood. The city centre is about 5 minutes away by tram or on foot from the campus. The train station is about 10 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by tram. The campus also offers three sports courts (paved with clay, asphalt), outdoor chess, pétangue, a music club, a pub, a physician’s office, a hair-dresser’s, a nail studio and other services. Two tram stops and two bus stops are located in the immediate vicinity.
Generál Svoboda Dormitory - Šmeralova 12, Olomouc
Accommodation is provided in the form of adjoining triple rooms with shared bathroom facilities among the six residents. The entire dormitory is covered by Wi-Fi. An accommodation office and the directorate of the Palacký University Accommodation and Dining Facilities are on location. The dormitory also provides the option of hotel rooms.
J. L. Fischera Dormitory – Šmeralova 10, Olomouc
Accommodation is provided in the form of adjoining triple rooms with shared bathroom facilities among the six residents. The building provides barrier-free access in 8 rooms and a kitchen for the physically handicapped. The entire dormitory is covered by Wi-Fi. Linen storage is on location.
Bedřich Václavek Dormitory – Šmeralova 8, Olomouc
Accommodation is provided in the form of adjoining double or triple rooms with shared bathroom facilities among three rooms. The entire dormitory is covered by Wi-Fi and is equipped with a gym and outdoor seating with a grill.
Josef Jařab – Šmeralova 6, Olomouc
Accommodation is provided in the form of double or quadruple rooms with communal kitchens and bathroom facilities on every floor. The entire dormitory is covered by Wi-Fi. The building is connected to the university canteen. An accommodation office is on location.
17. listopadu Dormitory - 17. listopadu 54, Olomouc
Accommodation is provided in the form of double or triple rooms with communal kitchens and bathroom facilities on every floor. The entire dormitory is covered by Wi-Fi. The building is connected to the university canteen.
The Neředín Campus
This campus consists of four dormitory (one of them is barrier-free) and the Neředín university canteen. The UP Faculty of Physical Culture and the BALUO Application Centre are located there. The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and the Faculty of Health Sciences are located near the campus. These can be reached within 10–15 minutes by tram or by bus; the same as the city centre. The railway station is 15 minutes by tram or by bus from the campus. The campus includes sports grounds, outdoor chess and other services. It is a popular location for foreign students, as well as for students of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Neředín I Dormitory - tř. Míru 113, Olomouc
This four-storey building without a lift, covered by Wi-Fi, provides accommodation in the form of triple rooms with shared bathroom facilities among two rooms. The dormitory is located in an attractive part of the Neředín campus near the Neředín university canteen and the UP Faculty of Physical Culture.
Neředín II Dormitory – U letiště 786, Olomouc
This six-storey building consists of five sections with separate entrances (A, B, C, D, and E); sections A and E are equipped with a lift. The dormitory provides accommodation in the form of single or double rooms with shared bathroom facilities and with above-standard furnishings. The entire dormitory is covered by Wi-Fi. A reception desk and an accommodation office are located in the building.
Neředín III Dormitory - U letiště 827, Olomouc
This six-storey building consists of five sections with separate entrances (A, B, C, D, and E); sections A and E are equipped with a lift. The dormitory provides accommodation in the form of single or double rooms with shared bathroom facilities and with above-standard furnishings. The entire dormitory is covered by Wi-Fi. Linen storage is located in the building.

Separate Dormitories
Evžen Rošický Dormitory - U Sportovní haly 4, Olomouc
This separate dormitory provides accommodation in the form of double or triple rooms with shared bathroom facilities for two rooms. The building is equipped with two lifts and covered by Wi-Fi. The building is located near a bicycle path, also suitable for in-line skating, and a beach volleyball pitch. The UP Academic Sport Centre, situated near the dormitory, features an archery range and a sports hall with a university dockyard. A gym and a sauna are available. The city centre is 10 minutes on foot from the dormitory.
Chválkovice Dormitory – Na Zákopě 26, Olomouc
This separate dormitory in Chválkovice, also called “a little oasis of peace” is located at the city outskirts. It provides double rooms with shared bathroom facilities. The complex includes a pétangue court, a sports ground and outdoor seating with a grill. The building is equipped with a lift, bicycle storage, a gym and a table-tennis room. A shared laundry room is available. The city centre is 10 minutes by bus from the dormitory. It is also possible to reach the centre by bike along the bicycle path.

Internet connection: WiFi and Wired Connection
The internet connection within UP is set out in the following document: Rules and Terms Regarding the Use of Computer Networks and Software Operation of Palacký University Olomouc as of 27 November 2015 (only in Czech).
WiFi internet connection has been gradually implemented in all the dormitories. At present, the majority of the dormitories already provide WiFi – see the table above: "Comparison of Services and Equipment of the Dormitories". The remaining dormitories will eventually be supplied with WiFi.
Wired internet connection is available at all dormitories. However, students need their own cables and switches to connect the wired internet. The rooms are equipped with one socket only. In order to connect, neither user name nor password is needed. However, due to safety reasons it is forbidden to connect routers to the network.
Instructions for connecting to WiFi EDUROAM wireless network for UP students and employees: Access to the computer network (in ENG)The wireless network EDUROAM is administered by UP Computer Centre. In case of non-functional connection, please, report the malfunction according to the point no. 3 below.
In case you have trouble connecting:
1) ensure the network interface (WiFi or Ethernet) device works correctly (at home or another place, or at your faculty network administrator). Outages of UP services (WiFi, etc.) might be tracked at portal.upol.cz.
2) visit the support by KolejNET personally in case of issue with wired connection during their office hours (see below). In here, it is possible to help you even with the basic setting of WiFi connection to EDUROAM network (e.g. how to set a password and the WiFi connection).
3) report the issue at UP helpdesk: helpdesk.upol.cz in case that the connection is not working according to the manuals. It is necessary to choose category "Dormitories - internet (WiFi - eduroam)" and report the following data: user name, placement of the malfunction (dormitory, floor), time and date of the malfunction, device used (Windows 10, Android 8, iOS 11, etc.), the message which is reported by the device during the attempt to connect to the network, the fact if it was possible to establish the connection before (if so, when),
4) inquire at the Information System and Service Department whether the connection at your dormitory works correctly: Lenka Čeplová at lenka.ceplova@upol.cz

Health care for students during JLF B Dormitory renovation
Starting July 1, 2025, Block B of the J. L. Fischer dormitory will undergo a year-long renovation, which will last throughout the 2025/26 academic year. For this reason, the health center in this building will be closed and will reopen in approximately November 2025.
Patients who have been visiting the general practitioner's office in the dormitory building can use the services of the second Olomouc branch of Moje ambulance at Janáčkova 943/5 starting in July. "We will be operating at the current address until June 26, after which we will move. From Monday, June 30, we will be available to all our clients at the new office on Janáčkova Street," said Michal Hradečný from Moje ambulance. If you have any questions, please call +420 585 750 535.
The current operator of the dental office offers emergency treatment by prior telephone appointment at +420 722 947 407. In case of an emergency on weekends and holidays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, you can use the dental emergency service at the Olomouc University Hospital.
